We all make predictions about the future that involve uncertainty. Some are trivial (e.g., predicting which item on a new restaurant menu you’ll enjoy most), and some are life-changing (e.g., predicting that you’ll be happy with your partner for the rest of your lives). This study investigates how people make these kinds of predictions.
