In-Mind is a peer-reviewed magazine. What does this peer-review entail? Peer-review, in scientific circles, means that articles are reviewed by (for authors) anonymous reviewers who judge the quality of the article. For In-Mind: after a user submits an article, the editor-in-chief assigns an associate editor who seeks out one expert in the respective research area and one other reviewer, who assures that the article is readable for a non-scientific audience. Authors are commonly researchers (graduate students or advanced researchers, whom are readers of our site) in social psychology.

Instructions to Authors
Submission
Authors are to submit their manuscripts electronically via :
This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
. Articles may only be submitted electronically (.rtf, or .doc). We explicitly want to state that our journal, In-Mind, is not a journal under the governance of a psychological association. However, authors are to abide by the APA's Checklist for Manuscript Submission. This checklist can be consulted for more information, including guidelines for preparing the electronic file. We only accept review articles with less than 2,500 words (excluding references and definitions) that are intended to inform the general public on social psychological trends and research. In-Mind is a peer-reviewed E-Journal.
General correspondence may be directed to the Editor.
Manuscript Preparation
Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed.). Manuscripts may be copyedited for bias-free language (see chap. 2 of the Publication Manual). Formatting instructions (all copy must be double-spaced) and instructions on the preparation of tables, figures, references, metrics, and abstracts appear in the Manual. See APA's Checklist for Manuscript Submission.
Keywords
All manuscripts must include up to five keywords or brief phrases.
Definitions
All manuscripts should include a list of definitions of social psychological terms used.
References
References should be listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference should be cited in text, and each text citation should be listed in the References. Basic formats are as follows:
Haag, L., & Stern, E. (2003). In search of the benefits of learning Latin. Journal of Educational Psychology, 95, 174–178.
Bollen, K. A. (1989). Structural equations with latent variables. New York: Wiley.
Johnson, D. W., & Johnson, R. T. (1990). Cooperative learning and achievement. In S. Sharan (Ed.), Cooperative learning: Theory and research (pp. 173–202). New York: Praeger.
Supplemental Materials
In-Mind requires at least one image per article. Please only use original materials or materials from which copyright has been obtained. Outward links can be placed on a limited basis. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to work with the editor and production staff to provide supplementary materials as appropriate.
Biography
All authors are to submit a brief biography with their affilation, research interests, and a picture. For examples, please see the Magazine Staff section.
Publication Policies
The American Psychological Association's policy prohibits an author from submitting the same manuscript for concurrent consideration by two or more publications. Although In-Mind is not part of the American Psychological Assocation, we do abide by these policies. We advise you to consider this when sending your manuscript to In-Mind rather than to a journal governed by the APA.
We only accept review articles that are directed at the general audience. It is not possible to publish original data sets.
Copyright of accepted manuscripts are automatically transfered to In-Mind.
