Jannis Friedrich
Jannis Friedrich is currently completing his PhD on embodied cognition, with a special interest toward understand the basic mechanisms which allow organisms to “think”, and identifying how these can be scaled up to explain human cognition. He completed a research master in Behavioral and Social Science, with a specialization in social psychology, in 2020 at the University of Groningen, and is employed at the German Sport University Cologne since 2021. He is also interested in complexity and self-organization and its application to theoretical cognitive science.
