Mariëlle Baelemans holds an interdisciplinary background in clinical psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and musicology. She previously worked in music cognition research before shifting her focus to clinical psychology, where she now focuses on personality disorders and voice hearing. She has worked as a researcher at Parnassia, where she investigated stigma surrounding personality disorders, and at ACTP, where she researched voice-hearing in borderline personality disorder. Her research reflects a cross-disciplinary curiosity about the mind, with a particular interest in making psychological science accessible to broader audiences.
