Pelin Gul

Pelin Gul received her BA Honours Psychology degree with a double major in Computer Science from York University in Toronto. She is currently a Master’s student in Social and Organizational Psychology at Leiden University where she is examining the role of identity affirmation in reducing threat among minority women at work settings. During her Phd, she wants to explore the cultural logic of honour, how it is implicated in the constructions of gender, sexuality and morality, and its consequences for interpersonal relationships. She is passionate about cultural/indigenous psychologies and also a staunch advocate of interdisciplinary research and knowledge-exchange.
